What most excites you about your new job?
It's always been a dream of mine to work in consulting. I'm excited about the clients I'll be working with and the opportunity to learn lots.
Where were you previously?
I was a PhD candidate at Scripps Research.
What was your preparation strategy?
I based all my prep around the IGotAnOffer platform. I used the "BCG and Bain Case Interview Training Programme" course and then did some invaluable mock interviews with coaches, Bipul and Franco.
What was the hardest part of the whole interview process?
Probably the case studies.
What advice would you give to other candidates?
Don't overdo your preparation. You need the right amount of practice to understand how to go through a case but not too much that you aren't allowing yourself to think creatively.
